This week, we’ve received some reports of somebody knocking on residents' doors and asking to inspect any trees at the property.

As part of our ongoing environmental work, we’ve contracted a professional tree surveyor, Urban Green, to carry out a survey of the trees in our areas.

The surveyors may approach your property and ask if they can look at any trees in your garden, as reported. Please rest assured that Southway staff and our contractors will always wear photo ID showing that they work for or with us and will clearly explain the purpose of their visit when they talk to you.

Keeping you safe and helping to protect you from potential scams is our priority. To keep you informed, during the week commencing 15th January, we'll be surveying the following areas:

  • Crossley Road

  • Erwood Road

  • Arbor Avenue

  • Arbor Drive

  • May Drive

  • Avon Gardens

  • Avon Road

  • Firethron Avenue

Our Environment Officer, Mike, will also join them to offer you extra assurance.
