Greater Manchester-based housing association Southway Housing Trust has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Paul Howes to a new role of Executive Director of Corporate Services.

Paul joined Southway in the new year from Stockport Homes, where he led on a range of services from marketing and communications to technology and digital transformation.

At Southway, he will have responsibility for the organisation’s corporate functions that support business development and the delivery of frontline services to customers.

These include human resources and organisational development, technology and systems, communications, and corporate governance.  His role will be critical in ensuring the organisation delivers the objectives and priorities within the new five-year corporate plan being launched in April.

“I’m delighted to be joining Southway at a really exciting time for the business as we work with tenants on a new five-year plan to make our homes and communities even better places to live. I’m looking forward to working with new colleagues, Southway tenants, board members, and stakeholders to make sure we provide the best possible services for our customers.”
