Do you share our values? You could be the perfect fit for one of the vacancies on our Parent Board!

Southway Housing Trust is a community-based social business, and a trusted landlord that provides good-quality affordable rented homes for 6,000 households in and around south Manchester.

Here at Southway, we are inspired by our communities. We care about the people and neighbourhoods of South Manchester, are committed to constantly improving services, and work in partnership with our tenants so that we can be successful together.

Do you share these values? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Parent Board!

We are recruiting to two positions:

  • Chair of the Board

  • Independent Board Member

We want a Chair who has experience at senior level in their profession, with experience of leadership and strategy.

For the Independent Board position, we are looking for a candidate with experience in property management, construction, asset management and investment planning. But, if you can demonstrate other relevant skills, we would love to hear from you.

Does this sound like you? We can equip you with training, development and plenty of support.

Interviews will be conducted on Monday 15th May.
