Older Southway tenants can try a new way of getting out and about for FREE.

The Southway Trishaw Programme is training volunteers to become trishaw pilots so they can take older people out and about to connect with nature, people and the community to reduce social loneliness and isolation.

It is a Southway project developed in 2024 based on the Cycling Without Age global initiative.

It is a free, slow and safe riding experience for passengers.  We have trained a team of volunteer trishaw pilots to deliver the trishaw rides journey to people aged 50 or above.

Who can book rides in the Southway Trishaw?
